How to choose your T-shirt fit

Compare regular and oversized fits using garment measurements rather than the size label alone.

Start with a T-shirt you already enjoy wearing. Lay it flat without stretching it. Measure across the chest, then double that width to compare with a chart labelled chest circumference. Measure length from the highest shoulder point to the hem, and shoulder width between the sleeve seams.

A regular fit usually follows the body more closely. An oversized pattern adds room and may move the shoulder seam down the arm. Buying a larger regular-fit size can also change the length, so compare the actual measurements instead of assuming the two fits are interchangeable.

Use the size chart for the exact product. Confirm whether it shows garment or body measurements and whether the unit is inches or centimetres. If the chart is missing, ask support before choosing.

For layering, compare against a garment you already wear over a base layer. Check chest, shoulder and length together; one measurement alone does not establish fit.
